Red Cross Calling

So yesterday was Red Cross Calling Day. I woke up at 5.30am and dad took me to the station and it was ohsodark at that time. Rode on the train with Jen, Amy, Kim and Serena and Lily joined us afterwards.

When we got to Martin Place we got these beautiful shirts and took pictures for Red Cross. We got given these money buckets and told that, the group that gets the most donations, would get a prize. ahahas.

Our Money Boxes
I was about to go with Angel and Nigashini when Xin came over so I decided to pair up with her since we were the third wheelers of our original groups. Me and Xin walked with Nish, Angel, Kristie and Tan but it started to get really crowded so we broke up. Firstly me and Xin walked west from Martin Place and we sang and shit but then we thought we'd get lost so we walked back to Martin Place and then to the east of it. But then we we didn't get customers- EVEN THOUGH WE DANCED AND TALKED AND SANG AND SHIZZLES TO SPREAD THE AWARENESS. and it was pissing because some people just stood there and got loads of money. But oh well, WE WALK WE LOSE FAT.

Laters we went back to Martin Place and started to walk up to State Library where we meant Cheungie so we became a threebie :)

Walking to the library me and Xin got bombarded by camera lady and camera man. The lady told us to act natural and we were singing our Red Cross so there were taking derp photos of us aahahas.

We went to Hyde Park and GOT OUR FIRST FIVER- a man walked past and gave us a $5 note :DD man we were busting moves in front of all these people- including grammar guys.

We went to the intersection of Hyde Park and started singing for money, which obviously didn't work because we didn't get anyone.

We then walked to Pitt Street, which was already bombarded with people asking for money so we walked to George Street and around Town Hall. Which included walking to and fro the KFC at Town Hall because XINABY WANTED SOME KFC. We found a good intersection for a while, at the intersection where the Apple Store was.
Xinaby and Cheungie at our spot

Eventually we tried to settle at Town Hall station but some train guard told us off. Stinky Blinky.
We went back to Martin Place and took a break- ohmygod the walking- and then we went to Ghermez to buy cupcakes!

The ghermez bag
Xin chose this beauutiful Espressio one where I bought this Mango Trio one. The cupcake itself tasted like a muffin but it was still delicious. And the bag was beautiful!

We then went back to our spot on George Street and got some sales- and when we passed Workshop Espresso - this busy coffee place- this lady stopped us and poured heeeaps of coins in our money box- and it was funny because her friend felt guilty and had to put some in as well.

We started to lose hope in our money collecting because we have been singing, dancing, and standing at busy intersections but had barely any customers, so we went to World Square and sat down and took a break :P

Xin then got a call from Esther and Isa so we went to meet them at went to Pitt Street to get some food. They ate KFC and we sat there for a while. Then I got a call from Nish asking where we were and so we started to walk to Martin Place Foodcourt. But then we really wanted to explore Pitt Street Westfield so we went in and ohmygod it was sooo beautiful. Firstly we wet to Happy Lab and it was aaammmmazing.

Colourful Lollipops

Lollipop Icecreams

PRETTY
They looked so beautiful and so colourful and the prices aren't that high than what I expected. You can get nice things there for just one dollar :) And the customer service is soo good and the guys there wear labcoats ahehehehes.

We then went to hart & heim, this pretty cool shop that sells the coolest miscellaneous things- like what you would find in Dangerfield.

I wanted this so much

Just a few of the money things you could get

I swear, one day when I get loads of money I will buy this store. We walked around Pitt Street Mall for a little more and then walked out to Martin Place Food Court where the others were but then Xin wanted to go to Sportgirl so we went in to have a look.

And, to our amazement, there was a photobooth there! The lady told us that each turn takes 6 photos and we keep half and post the other half to one of their walls. And when they make their monthly magazines they would chose photos in there to post! But she also said we could just take photos without posting. Cheungie, Xin and me took soo many and it was really fun.

After that we went back to Martin Place and that ended our Red Cross. Altogether we we filled two buckets full and had loads of fun. But, of course I had a date afterwards so there was more fun to come ;)

i am outtie :D
