i haven't posted for ages.

Why? Because so much stuff happened this week. 

Why? BECAUSE IT'S LUNAR NEW YEAR (: happy belated lunar new year guise :)

It all started off this Sunday when we rode up to Phuc Hue temple in Wetherill Park to watch fireworks at 12am. 

The place was full crowded with so many people; and of course the hunt was on ehehz. 

Me and Tina went around ourselves and I saw a Peter Adrian doppleganger. so scary ahahas. 

We saw Mathew and Alan with their parents but then we lost our parents. It was nearly 12 so we walked out to the fireworks place to get good spots. And damn the tall people that stand in front of us, friggin move to the back don't you know your manners?

And next to us was a bunch of people who smoked and talked shit and they didn't realise there was a toddler close by. If the place was crowded at least put some sense in it and don't firggin smoke in such a crowded area. 

Tina kept texting and I thought she was texting our parents to find their whereabouts but guess what? She was looking for Michael. Ohgosh. He came over with aviators..at night. It looked so stupid but of course I didn't say anything, because me and him are still in our awkward phase. And I'm quite comfortable with that tbh. But you know what sucked? Being a third wheeler ahahahs. While they were talking their lovey dovey I was stuck there looking like a loner. Thnk goodness for the fireworks that started what seemed like a bajillion minutes later. 

But the fireworks were lovely :) I was super happy with it :)

Monday we went to 3 temples and ate good temple food ;)

Tuesday we started off going to a temple but no-one was there so we went back home and then went to costco ! AND WE ALSO WENT TO SPOTLIGHT. omgomgomgomomgmomgg. it's like a heaven there. I bought 2 calico bags and have already printed some galaxy prints on ehehez. ofcourseofcourse, it excited me as shit :P

Thursday of course was Australia Day but I didn't feel like going anywhere so we stayed at home. 

Friday I went thrifting at Summer Hill. And even though the transportation costed 1 hour and I only stayed there for 1 hour it was really worth it. I found this awesome printed black singlet that was sooo lovely, I lace mid-drift, a maroon coloured granny blouse, a maroon coloured singlet/dress that worked perfect with a pair of stockings and the belt the others got me, a peach coloured thin blouse and olive coloured country road jeans; both of which i could work on to DIY and sell them :)

And now today. Started off shit ahahas BECAUSE IM MEANT TO STUDY FOR THE TRUONG EXAM WHICH IS UP ON MONDAY AND IM FCKING DROWNING IN FCKING YEAR 11 LINEAR FUNCTIONS THAT I DONT STINKING UNDERSTAND. 

And tonight I'll be hitching to HOI CHOI TET :) YAYAYAYAYAYAYA. 

New Shopping Haul

Hey its been awhile :) but i went shopping recently and got more gorgeous clothes and shoes as well! Firstly i got a pair of black highwasited shorts from JayJays for $10 which was a pretty good buy :)

I also snapped a sleeveless, fake denim, collared top for $10 as well which i love soo much. Though theres a tie feature at the front - which im not really a fan of- it reminded me of that bettina liano top..when i get studs i will try and stud the pocket of the top :) omgaaahs can't wait.

Lastly, which is the bet peoce of new haul..are these lovely pair of combat boats i got from Bizarre Shoes. It was 50 marked down to 30. It still seemed pretty expensive but grandma bought it for me as a belated christmas pressie; :)

On the notes of clothing, me and sarah and angel have started trying to dipdye some shorts yesterday. We got some old jeans and thrifties and cut them and we've started to bleach them. I'm bleaching a pair of GAPS right now and just bought some Ritz Royal Blue dye to gradient dipdye it :D and when sarah's studs come we can stud the pocket sides and sell for moneyzz. Ahahahs.

But i really do need to go thrift. Sarah had these awesome blouses and i want to get some as well, cut them sleeveless and GO BESERK!

Okies so on Tuesday i went to Lamyas :DD i had a feeling that morning dad would have his temper on but he soon let me go after i told him that he allowed me to go last week- which was true.

Got to Lidcombe with 20mins to spare so i went to the kgrocers and bought some sun chips and a packet of chajangmyun for 90c. Hehehes tried it yesterday, good stuff :D

I aboarded the bus while it was empty and asked the man to take me to Botanicca but he was like:"its my break i don't drive" and i was like "oh sorry" but he's like "oh ya know what? Give me a dollar and i'll take you there" and insisted i get on which was really creepy. Either i was gutsy or stupid but i ended up trusting him and he took me there 10mins before thr schedule. And he was really nice abd funny and we talked a lot, those men are really hard to find :D

Came to her house and firstly we just sat and talked about stuff hahahas. Iunno the thing with Lamya is that we never really run out of anything to say so its always fuun :D we went out with her dslr and went to the garden and talked hahahs and then we went and watched some youtube and ate KEBABS AND CHIPS AND CHICKEN which was scrumpdiliumptious- thabks to her mysterious uncle :L

AND THEN IT WAS SHERLOCK HOLMES TIME. omgg the whole the was sooo cool and i can't believe i didnt like it the first time; BUT IT WAS BECAUSE THE ACCENT WAS TOO HARD TO UNDERSTAND! and jude law was omgggggg too good to be true hahahas. We then made popcorn and it was yuuums and the first time they didnt burn and we ate sunchips hahas.

Then Lamya suddenly said she needed to cut her fringe and, since i am an aspiring stylist and whatnot- forreal since i dealt with my first client last week and he had massive compliments hahahas- i helped cut it. It was abit dodgy here and there hahahas but it was okay :L though lamya didnt like it and persist she should start investing on hats.

We finished Sherlock and then went into her room and watched a tad of Once Upon A Time In Cabramatta, this SBS documentary about Vietnamese gangsters and it is truly fascinating, there were so many things i didnt know about the history of my race- quite astonishing.

But the loading was shit so we webt out abd used her dads dslr and took seriously embarassing pucs of me hahas. AND I HAD SOME CHEESECAKE WHICH WAS YUUMS.

Came home at 4.30 ish and the day ended normal :) corn couldnt go on at night because he got caught but ehhs, thats the perks of these types of relationships.

Uhuhuhuh tired.

Been walking and swimming everyday and my left shoulder is hurting like shit hahahs. On top of that im being monitored by my mum all because i went over 5 mins on skype D; suvks shit.

Today i had to do work..which is like the first time these holidays hahahas and since my nails are back to short because long nails are so high maintenance, i take forever to type hehs.

Tomorrow i will be watching Mission Impossible 4 with the fam bam. I seriously prefer Sherlock 2 but with a complaining sis i'll have to just go with the flow. Im pretty sad as well since the bands havent been sold as well as they couldve. Far out there were so many people who wanted it thr first time around and now we only got two buyers. Going to have to message people seperately nows, because i need them sold :(

I finally learnt the whole of Novacane, it sounds reaaaalll swell on the uke :D

I havent been able to update zee blog often due to everythings that been going on and shitty internet and lack of comp. access. But when i do i will blog about Lamyas house soo TUNE IN :DD

chatswood day out part 1: foodie guide

Since i was meant to go to fishies market but it's been postponed to the point where it was cancelled, my mum and tina went on a trip to chatswood, though I really wanted to go to Town Hall because there would be the Sydney Festival in the city and that would be loads of fun :)

Though it took a while to get there - 2 hours travel minumum there and back- we arrived in style hahahas. But since this is a foodies guide, i won't be blogging about my lovely haul of that day, CAUSE ITS ALL ABOUT FOOOOOD :DD - and creds to Tina who took the loveliest food porn ;)

So we ate lunch at this lovely Korean BBQ Buffet at Mandarin Centre and it was quite cheap, $10 for an adult. The atmosphere of the store was pretty good and it had the lovelies homely style to it :) The variety of food was okay, though compared to the buffet at Bankstown RSL it was quite small. But I guess that's what you get with $10, and it was worth the buck.

So anyhoo, this was my first dish:

The food wasn't bad at all. There were noodles, honey pork, korean style omelettes, korean style stirfry. The kimchi was lovely and so seriously spicy but that's the whole point of kimchi.  There was no dukkboki though, so kudos to the korean buffet at chinatown :DD The miso soup was lovely though, there was nothing as nice tasting that I've tasted before - miso soup wise. We got some icecream to top it all up and it was all pretty good :)

The highlight of the experience though was definitely the honey pork. It was so absolutely yummy and the texture was sooooo good omgggaaaahahhhh. on my second round all i got was that a some korean fried rice and everything just kept gawking at my super small roll choked full of pork hahas.


Of course we had to shop all the food off and when it was about time to go home, we hit Meet Fresh. Meet Fresh is this superb Taiwanese dessert place at Chatswood..and you could also find in Chinatown as well. We bought the most expensive dessert which was Super Mango Crushed Ice Dessert and it was sooooo huge it was so fulling. A mostly when we were all thirstly and shit, it was a life saver hahas. Everyone just looked at their bowls and then looked at ours because they had to pay something like 5 for these small things and we spent 7 on something that looked twice the size hahas.

The mountain was made out of a mountain of ice and covering it is bits of smoothed mangoes, chunked mangoes, mango syrup and the top is vanilla icecream. OMGG it was delicious. WORTH THE BUCK.

Recording.

Yesterday i went to chenzos house and recorded some songs that we wanted to cover.

We got She Will Be Loved done and also The One That Got Away as well. I really wanted to do She Was Mine but the harmonising was a tad to hard for us. Still we had a super time :)

Came home and spent my whole night perfrcting Swim Good, i will record it asap and poat it up as well
:D my voice is not on tip top shape atm but i hope it'll be okies when it comes out :D

Defying Things.

Now, i don't know what to think about it anymore. Should i still hold onto that belief that i've been holding for a while or should i risk it? Everything thats happening of course has made me think differently and to make me think that these things can happen. But for how far can i go? How far will i be able to go before i realise that things ain't working out for me?

And already i have been having loads of troubles. I miss out on a lot of time with fam and friends, miss out on valuable time for work. And i'm moving into year 10, i need to change this unhealthy lifestyle. But how can i stop now? I've been going through these whirlwinds that end up triumphant and i love that feeling, though im risking my school and academic life. Should i stick to my realistic goals and ruin that spark that i enjoy or should i guard that spark on a chance that it might become better? I don't know, but everytime i defy things it never works in my advantage.

365 Photo Challenge Day 2

This is Francesco, my ukulele. My sister bought it for my last week and it has been my happiness since. People judge me saying im following the trend since many people from my school and so on are getting into the uke but idgaf. Because this really gives me joy. When i'm confused, angry or happy i play my ukulele. When i want to forget things i play on it as well. Instead of clouding my head i focus on my vocal range and my chords and put those emotions into the songs i sing. And im taken to a different place. I know its too early to be saying this but i seriously feel really connected to my dear francesco hahas.

And yeahs, excuse the poor lighting and my sheep bed covers hahas.

365 Photo Challenge Day 1

So i watched Sunrise this morning and there was this thing called 365 Grateful which was a scheme that aims to make people happier by posting up a picture journal for every single day. This touched me alot and so my mission is to do the same. I'm going yo be taking pictures of my daily life or what i love and what inspires me and share it on here as well as post my normal shit up hahahs. We'll see how long this could take because i am a lazyass blogger hahas.

So here is Day 1, 5th of January 2012:

This is a pic of a textiles pattern. Textiles is my passion, something i fell in love with early last year. It gives me some creative to look forward to every week at school and i try my hardest in it out of all subjects. I can't imagine boring school would be and it has been my wish to forward my textiles skills when i grow older. At least i'd want it to be my left hand job. Designing things and dresses is what i love doing and the people i meet who do these things are so very inspiring, i hope to be like them :)

GUESS WHO GOT THE TICKS!

Hahaha this is ooolld news for me but I GOT THE TICKS TO THE AJ RAFAEL CONCERT! hahas the loveliest thing ever its going to be on on the 20th of January, so i got 15 days or so left AND IM SO EXCITED THIS IS MY THIIINNNNG. hahahs i seriously dont know what to say to him; that i love him so fcking much? Nope nope, have to act all cool and collected though i probs be soo nervous inside :D

Anyhoos. Today i cruised on my site and ended up buying some vinyl decals on bulk that i could sell and continue my vinyl decal business hahas so, when they come i will post them up to let you guys see how lovely they are :) im thinkin of using the money i get from this plus the bands to buy a 50 card and buy more shit to sell and get a profit. If things start going good imma get more cheaper stock from the site and sell :D because i desperately need moneyz right now and dad wouldnt let me get a job so yeahs, besr of luck for me :) seriously, if i get a lot of money i wiuld definitely invest on a vinyl decal printer so things would be easier for me, but thats for the long term hahas.

I was at Lidcombe the other day waiting for my train when this other train came and out stepped this girl that was from my old primary school. She looked really mature now and i wanted to go say hi..UNTIL I SAW THEM.

Okay. So if nobody knows, CONVERSE HEELS ARE A NO NO. they're like half wegdes half converses and seriously, thats the worst type of shoe anyone has ever invented..not counting kitty heels of course.

But seriously, how are they fashionable at all?! I can't even..omgaaah.

In a lighter note i have mastered Lullaby by Lateeya and maybe record a cover so yeeeeh. And i do have some new jams to post but since im on my ipod its impossible to so..when i grab a hold of my sis's laptop, i'll post them up :)

So It Is 2012 :D

Firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR GUISE! iys fimally 2012 and i've seriously waited for this for so looong.

Hahas, there's been so much shit happening last year i hope that everything would be different and less dramatic this year. Hahas but i know for aure i never get out of drama.

AAAAND I HOPE THAT this year i would be in a class with a totally different class group that i like. Last year has been fun but it didnt end so well. So i hope this year we woupd be in a TOTALLY DIFFERENT CLASSS PLEAAAAASEEES.

But recap..what has been happening these past days? Mhmm NYE was lovely :D i went with the whole fam
Bam to the city. Firstly it rained a bit so we had to run to the music shop to exchange the ukulelele. But gues what? It doesnt need excahnging anyhoo..the strings were just a tad loose and thats why it didnt tune well. UGGHH AND WE HAD TOCARRY IT THE WHOLE DAY! but here is a pic of it for my lovely ass readers hahas.

Okay then we walked to chinatown and had lunch there and it was yuuuum. Going up to market city and i bought quite a lot of shit; a part of black denim shorts that were daaayuuum cheap hahas, jade eyeliner that angel got before and these lovely studs from rubi. Heres a pic a the bottom!

Afterwoods we went to haymarket where we walked around. Theres really not much shit to get there..its moatly for tourists BUT I SAW THESE LOVELY COMBAT BOOTS FOR 30 that mum said was an okay price BUTT THERE WAS ONLY ONE SIZE LEFT AND ITS TOO HUGE. fcketyfckfck.

OHH BUT ISAW KANGAROO BALLS. Hahah theyre pretty legit :P o darling harbour. It was pretty crowded and tere was security everywhere! Went to the shopping place and bought a paor of tommys at rubi for 5 :D theyre black and lovely on my feet :) also got a cross shaped charity bracelet :D passing Louivisa, i got thus awesome armour ring which looks pretty cool :D - modelled at the bottom-

We walked around a bit more and then went home. Afters i talked to Brian for quite alot hahas. I remember from 6 all the way to 12 hahas. OMGG BUT THEM GODDAMN LAGS. i friggin hate my modem it sucked shit but dad doesnt know that it needs changing. got hungry cause i had no dinner and so i ate 3 bananas hahas. And we talked about all this shit as usual, if you're asking.

AND THE FIREWORKS WERE SO PRETTY AS WELL EVEN THE 9 oclock ones were! The midnight omes are absolutely spectacular but! The bestet yet! And then all my new uear texts started to come in and ooohhhgod do i love these people so much: chenzo, sadia, nish, xinster, huala and vivian! And i teared up when i read lamya's one. Ohhgosh do i love her so much :D.

So, heres my 2012 resolution: i'd like to lose 5kgs. Already have a worked hard and i hope i could better and loose the arm fat that i hate!

Anddd ofcourse, to update this blog more with more of my jams. I have been just updating about my life right now so i WIILLLL update more about music and all the other shit!
