happy feb.

soz, I went to a festival in the weekends but kinda busy right now to really be blogging about it. 

well do so this weekend hahas/ addition posting after my lunch out tmr :)

feb to me means:

• super studying for march exams (no kidding fml) 
• eating out more with the sis cause of my frees
• having too many frees and doing unnecessary things in between 
• ONE MONTH BEFORE BRUNO MARS THAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR FOREVER FOR
• new workout regime 
• ANOTHER soundcloud! 

this month will be hectic cause it's a months countdown to my first official exams for hsc. trying to not stress out by just doing as much as I can everyday while enjoying it and going out A LOT to eat and chill and just to like...impulse buy...my stress away HAHAHAHS

this month may also see a scarce appearance of posts (except when I really want to procrastinate like right now) so just a heads up for you guys :)

FIRST WEEK BACK | SUBJECTS | N2

heyhey, 

this post will be mainly comprised of life updates and less of food but yeahhhh lets get on with it! 

so first week back at school was a blur. 

• timetable was okay but not so good
• fell asleep in modern on day two
• fell asleep in english on day three - tried so hard to stay awake obviously couldn't even though the talk was really interesting 

but really- biggest thing was dropping out of 3 unit English. I have honestly been thinking about this for the past term after deciding to do 11 units but this holidays for me was spent on 3u english so much that I felt like i understood the unit so well and I liked my related text and it just feels like I could do so well. Plus I had Cathy who tutored me and I liked her approach to teaching and just feel so comfortable and at ease about the unit. 

But then someone else dropped it and told me the 'logic' to it. and I don't usually follow people's thinking and get swayed so easily but then i understood that there really was no point to doing the unit. 

i initially chose it as a 'safety net' unit to my other units. I was going pretty well at english to begin with from last year so I thought that if I was to flunk out on any subject, english might pull me up. But thinking about it again, if I really desperately want a 99+ i gotta do well for all my subjects regardless so in a way, I really don't have a safety net with that 1 unit. 

so even though i enjoy it, why waste time when I already have modern, textiles and 4u maths. 

so yeah, went to see harrison and changed and told cathy who was really supportive but arghh!

I don't know why but I'm feeling both good and bad at the same time. 

But yeah- knew that i'd be feeling shit today so went out in the arvo with the others to get N2.

best fucking decision ever.

so we got the 

FERRERO REVEAL ($8) - left- fucking beauty the gelato had nuts in it and its dipped with a top layer of choco & nuts like ferrero roche style with a syringe with choc ganash on it and a wafer 

ICED LEMON CHOINESE TEA SORBET ($6) - middle- it melted quickly because of the weather but it was so refreshing huehuehue

MATCHA ARUKI ($6)- right- green tea gelato with red bern omfg yes

so the two $6 flavours were specials because of Chinese New Year so that was pretty cool, and most of the shops around the city had special CNY stands so it just makes it a whole lot cooler. 

EXCITED TO GO OUT ON SUNDAY NIGHT FOR MORE CNY FESTIVITIES!

but yeah, now gotta prep for tmrs 6hrs of maths with terry lee or another 3 fucking terms cry.

• had tutoring with cathy. cathy > aaron omg shes so nice i can't believe i only properly talked til now
• 3u english is killing me though
• afterwards came to chens - went to get pizza and made sangria with sarah & maddie 
• my sangria taste nice- SUCCESSSS
• discovered my love for almond milk 
• all day eryday almond milk 
• chen's dad taught me how to properly pour chinese tea with the full chinese tea set hehehehehe 
• made nutella crepes but it doesnt taste like the ones at town hall 
• lazily chilled, and thats why this song totally suits the mood of today 

going back to school tomorrow to get on with my textiles. i'm so fucked and so tired i think i've already burnt out hahahas. 

but weirdly i'm excited to go back. can't wait for my frees to go out and eat, sleep, chill HAHAHAHHAS. 

i really want this year to be great- regardless of mark i just want to do my best and feel proud of myself for trying and not necessarily being the best out of the best. 

so here's my school/hsc year resolution

• do maths everyday without fail- no falling asleep in kalinas class anymore! 
• modern history- do much better, talk to ms cooke. show lunney that no im better than 20/25 and keep being ranked 2nd overall
• English- be betterpls
• textiles- do good. stay on my game. 
• umat drills every night 
• stay on top of terry lee

is this too much to ask? argh. workwrokworkworkowkorw

IT IS FINALLY DECEMBER. 
i finally feel like the things i've been buying for myself can now be justified cause im celebrating christmas early HURHURHURHURHUR. 

but omg the past few weeks have been buying clothes and food and random shit and shoes <333 font="">

Taobao shit from JUNE has finally arrived and althoughmost of my stuff didn't arrive I was sososo happy with what i got.

and tina's cut out boots that she got me from ages back also came last month so yeayeayeaheyaheayehayehayehayehae. been wearing it everywhere cause it makes me tall :") all i'm waiting for now is my portable phone charger

AND this brings me to another point: money

so it has only been what 8 months? since i left my job with 1,800 bucks in the bank and now there's only 500 and i feel like im gonna cry because most of it has been go to shit like phone, textiles, food, foood food.

omg not to mention i have already bought my patterns which are around 50$ altogether for two fucking easy dress and jacket patterns fucking kill me textiles. 

and  right now going shopping is just buying crap for people and it feels good but also crappy cause i cant redeem this money its gone forever until end of year 12. 

i need a job.

and on another side note i am certain that I will marry Ta-ku because he did a voice-over interview of his album and there's so much meaning and he's just amazing. 

and on another side note:

first in textiles out of the grade (with only one class though HAHAHAHS) and second in grade for modern history and tied first in class :)

gonna try my hardest to hold onto my rank as well as move up hehehehehehe. 

first textiles proposal came back with 98% YAAAY ALL IS GOING WELL. 

but right now too many ceebs i mean wtf why cant school just end now why is there still 2 more weeks. 

END OF EXAMS YEES

Okay no. THERE'S A FRIGGIN HISTORY EXAM TOMORROW LIKE WHAT I JUST REALISED TODAY AND A SPEAKING ON WEDNESDAY. HATE FRENCH IM GOING TO DIE AND GEORGIA IS GOING TO SIT CHAIRS DOWN FROM ME AND SPEAKING ALL PROFESSIONALLY AND I'LL GO TO MS WITH NOTHING IN MY HEAD. 
yeah that's what happened to me the last two speakings. 
and there's like, 2 more to go this year omgash. 

But yeah, the exams are formally over yay :) textiles went okay if you didn't count my crappy overlocking for my crotch pair of the shorts. i turned a bit too sharp and there's a weird cut part where the overlocking seam doesnt even connect to the fabric ahahas. but i really don't give a crap for now. 

so apparently tomorrow there's a history exam that i have no idea about and I hope that I could just go in a fluke it like i usually do for all hsie/geo unformal exams. 

and french. ahahahahs french. :( we needed to do a doctor/patient scenario with the teacher and I don't think my 3 weeks of repeatedly listening to french music would help me when my vocab is the shittest thing ever. 

and then there's tutoring. omgahs. so our class may be one of the toppies but we suck shit because THERE'S JUST TOO MANY PEOPLE. you dont even need a heater on a cold day because all the human heat would be just too much. Don't get what im learning right now. AP/GP shit is okay but when you have all these word problems like WTF I DON'T CARE IF A MAN CONTRIBUTE $500 ANNUALLY ON EACH OF HIS 44 BIRTHDAYS AND THE ACCUMULATED VALUE AND BLAHBLAHBLAH. LET HIM BE. 

and yet i skipped out on another important class. im so dead hahaahhas. WHY IS CONSUMER SO IMPORTANT IM GOING TO GROW UP AND HIRE AN ACCOUNTANT AND A TAX PERSON ANYWAY. 

and then there's textiles. trying not to rush everything last minute last time because this might be the last major im doing in textiles if i don't continue- not counting stuff toys because...that's so stupid and no one cares. 

those its been less stressful but yeah, still too much shit. 

AND I WON $100 MODE COLLECTIVE VOUCHERRRR. YEEEEES. so i read the email and i got supersuper excited and im was screaming YAAAY SHOES. and then checked the website and the only thing buyable were canvas laceups and retro looking pair of white wedges that are in size 35 :( AND THOSE PRETTY ANKLE SUEDE BOOTS ARE $300 :( what am i going to do with my voucher idek. 

and i was 'ppose to have french breakfast tomorrow but it got delayed :(

Rawr.

I'm finally exam free for a while :) super good because i'm using the time to catch up with school work and reading :)

AND TEXTILES :) i finally bought thread and i'm nearly finished with my epaulets for the costume. So hyped to finish sewing the last one :)

Yesterday we versed Rawr for basketball and the score was better than I expected. I see that I've been improving in my defense skills and Jasmine also said I have so that made me really happy. My endurance, though, sucked at the end 5 minutes but we stayed put for Kristie to get in some shots to end the score to 54-16. Not bad for a rookie team being in a hard division versing one of the best teams. The only thing that annoyed me was the fact that people are going:" i want to go on when someone else goes on" and now that we have 11 people, the subs are placed as 2 teams which would sub on everytime like that. That is unfair. The shooters are on at one same time and thedefenders are on at a separate time, whats the point in that?

This week we subbed people on when they got tired and we shuffledthe groups around and it worked so well in our favour, so i hope our team can just go with that for our next game.
