DRAMA LLAMAS

So yesterday afternoon I went to Lamya's house to practice for drama day. When I came we started to eat spring rolls and dumplings out at her balcony and it was such a beautiful scenery..BECAUSE BOTANIC IS SO BEAUTIFUL.

 We practiced for the whole night and at night we had pillow fights and played all these games and took so many embarrassing photos. But it was our last sleepover so everyone just went all out. And omgsh sleeping at someone's house is really sooo uncomfortable :P Me, Ann and Lamya were sharing one quilt and it was so cold at night because somebody left the fans on :L


The morning was pouring rain and when we came to Central we were all drenched. And sharing 2 umbrellas with 5 people started to become a hassle. 


The year, the topics that people satirized were more serious but there were some very funny ones. Our one turned out to be worst than I expected. I thought people would get our statements but I guessed not. And we only went for like..4 minutes 20 seconds. Altogether the whole day was soo much fun :L

After drama day ended we went to the bus stop but there was soo many people so me, xinso, lily and kim decided to go catch a public bus. And it was the worst decision ever. Firstly we got bombarded by soo many year 9 sbhs guys. Secondly 2 buses passed us because they were all crowded. So we decided to walk to Central. Only to find out that a bus came to the bus stop we left and so we had to run to the next bus stop. it was soo embarrassing. But the good thing was the sky cleared up and it was a tad sunny so it was all good :) 

Tomorrow would be RED CROSS. I am seriously so excited because this would be the last time in a week that i'd get to have fun so I'm going to enjoy it all that I can :)

i have been obsessed with this artist for a while back already and, looking at my older posts I realised i have never made a jam post about him. SO HERE HE IS; Jeff Bernat :)

If you guys don't know who he is, he's a youtube artist with seriously melting vocals and has really good beats. he's stuff ranges from slow jams, rnb, soul, funk; reeeeally good stuff. like most other youtube artists he does really good covers but I just love his originals. Check them out :)

Drummer Girl

So for textiles I have decided on what I'm going to do, and I have started putting everything together so all is going good at the moment :)

My pattern Inspiration

 So the pattern I'm using as an inspiration as a military drummer girl. This is what I've got in mind - and sorry for the bad rendering because i can't find anything better.

my initial draft

As you guys can see, there would be the fringing epaulets and also metallic lines on the front of the vest. The frilly bodice and the skirt would be gone though because I couldn't imagine myself with that. There are also some fake pockets- which come in the form of flaps- on either sides of the vest. and to top it off there would be a belt and I'd wear bandage tights that sarah has ordered for me already. Excited? heck yeah I am :) I have already started making the vest and the shoulders but the interface is so super thin that now i have to scout for thick interface for my shoulders. BECAUSE I DON'T WANT THEM TO FLOP DOWN. 

worst comes to worst I'm resorting to adding cardboard in between the fabric ahahahs.
But im going to try to recount about everything that I do to this costume. So stay tuned :DD

stubborn.

So basically i woke up with my beautifully husky voice gone but replaced with a cracky cough. and so now i'm at home ahahas. 

dad took me to bankstown to get a checkup and I got bombarded with meds. But hey at least it was strawberry flavoured :DD

 But anyhoos I'd like you guys to meet my latest family member of cups/mugs. ahahas pretty cool right? Although the lid takes forever to get off when I do need some coffee, it gets everyone amazed :P

Mr. Lens

So tonight I will be going over to Lamya's house for a sleepover for drama day. Our whole thing is basically a satire about how far the fashion industry has gone and I hope that the whole grade would like it. It is absurd, it is insane..but I guess all our drama day works have been based around the insanity. 

Everything will go by in a whiz and by Friday, I WILL BE AT STRATHFIELD WITH MY LOVELY FROZEN YOGHURT. ahahahs and kim of course. 

The only thing that's racking my head right now is camp. I really do want to go to camp because it's fun and it'll probably be the last camp that we can have fun in. But I don't want to do go to someplace that I've been to in year 7 and have the whole thing happening again. Of course the food is delicious and i won't need to bore myself at home for 3 days. But there's also a conference that I would really like to go at University of Sydney on the night of the first day of camp as well. It is a conference for people to go to Colleges in America. Honestly I really want to go abroad after uni and keep studying design because that is my thing. Just to go abroad a pitch my ideas would be good.

Maddie has reserved a seat for me at the place. It's either I enjoy my last fun camp or I go to a conference. I don't know, any suggestions?
